Do I need a property inspection?

Technically, you don’t need a property inspection to buy a home. However, it is highly advisable to get one as it’s important to have all the information when making such a large investment.

When should I schedule my inspection?

Immediately after going under contract on your home purchase, you should schedule your home inspection.

How long does an inspection last?

Generally, a home inspection can last 2-3 hours. If it’s a larger property it can be anywhere from 4-6 hours.

Should I be present for the inspection?

Absolutely, you should be present. The home inspector will be able to point out and explain detailed information to you. They’ll also be available for all of your questions.

When do I get the inspection report?

You’ll receive the inspection report 2-3 days after the inspection.

Do you schedule inspections on weekends?

Yes, we do schedule home inspections on the weekend.

How do I interpret the inspection report?

Each report is incredibly detailed and will have photo evidence of specific issues and recommendations to remedy any issue.

We are looking at things like a home’s foundation, structural components, roof, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems,

Should I be concerned with my inspection report?

We will highlight all serious concerns on the inspection report with major safety issues being highlighted.
